Delectable
Reese Bradford needed a change, needed something more in his life than regrets and he’s about to find it in this romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author R.L. Mathewson.
He never should have asked her to marry him.
It was a mistake, one that he was still paying for and one that Reese was hoping the rest of the world would forget, but thanks to his ex-fiancée sharing his secret, it didn’t look like that was going to happen anytime soon. That left him with no choice but to go on the honeymoon that he’d planned alone, only to find himself faced with the one thing that he’d never expected.
A woman who loved tormenting him.
More intrigued than he’d ever thought possible, Reese finds himself drawn to the small woman with a secret of her own.
Kasey learned her lesson a long time ago and it wasn’t one that she planned on repeating. She had everything that she could ever dream of, a wonderful little girl, who was going to drive her to drink one day, and best friends that were always there for her. The last thing she needed was to fall in love with the incredibly handsome man next door, but with every touch, he was making her want things that she’d told herself that she could live without and that…
Terrified her.
Reviews for Delectable
This book was a interesting blend of romance, humor and very sexy. Reese Bradford is the very handsome, sexy, kind , virgin in this story. Kasey is the single mother with a small town reputation of being the town slut in the past. Kasey has a adorable daughter, Mikey and wonderful witty best friends Sara and Eric that help her realize it’s time to love again after losing her husband ten years before. Trevor, Zoe, Jason and Haley makes a appearance all through the story which I love. Fans of the Bradford clan will love this book and those that are not yet fans will become one!

JUST WOW!!!
ok I admit it, this series has been and will remain my favourite series ever!!!
Each book could be a standalone I guess, but seriously why would you not read them all!!
They are each amazing fabulous sensational hilarious hot and simply perfect.
I adored the fact each character in this book showed a funny snippy side lol
Reese was a fun guy to get to know, he showed snarky funny vulnerable stubborn serious sides to himself as did Kasey which I think is what made them absolutely perfect for each other.
I loved the family interaction like Haley, Jason, Uncle Jared for instance
I laugh throughout each and every on of the books in NFH series, but this one had that extra edge I think as Reese and Kasey were like two peas in a pod.
I just basically want to be in the Bradford family 😂
I can’t rate this book and series highly enough and an on tender hooks awaiting Irresistible.

This is going down as one of my favorite books. I laughed so much as well as worried, cried and got indignantly angry for the characters. I so enjoyed each and everyone of the characters, loved how you got to know them and fall in love with them. I enjoyed that our beloved Bradford characters were apart of this book and the deep love and devotion they show to those around them, even non-family, and when they’re messing with each other. This book approached several topics that were tastefully talked about and hopefully will make people think twice before they pass judgement on others. Mixed families are a part of the norm and it’s always important that the love in the family is for every member and not just the adults. I’m also looking forward to seeing where some of these new friendships in the book are going! Again, RL Mathewson you’ve outdone yourself and that’s saying a lot!!!

LOVED this book! It’s everything we expect from every RL Mathewson book…humor, love, hunks, and the women who keep them in line! This book was well worth the wait, but I always anxiously await her books. Reese is a typical Bradford in many ways, except he is a true romantic and wants to wait for the woman who is perfect for him. This characteristic makes women swoon for him, but his fiancée uses it as a way to humiliate him as she leaves him for his best friend. Kasey and her daughter, Mikey, need a trustworthy male, and Reese fits the bill. As I read this book, I did not want to put it down at all, even for the warm up bands at the Brad Paisley concert! Loved the epilogue and cannot wait for Aiden’s story! Keep ‘em coming, RL Mathewson!

The only bad thing about this book is that I finished it and now have to wait forever for the next one! I love the NFH books. They are so over the top hilarious at times. If you’ve never read one, be aware they are meant to be crazy and have characters who are drama queens. Reese was so sweet and not the typical Bradford male, but that was ok , because he is so lovable! We get some of the classic Bradford drama with Jason and Trevor, so that was a nice addition to the story. Kasey was great, if a little batty in the beginning, but she was good for Reese. The best friends were wonderful also. I can’t wait to read Aiden’s story next!

This book is amazing. R. L. Mathewson is amazing. Delectable has everything you can want in a book. This is a laugh out loud till your on the verge of pee-ing, try to hide cause it’s so awkward and embarrassing, look around to make sure your kids aren’t reading over your shoulder cause this book is steamy hot. Happy sigh. This book, hell this series is a must read. I swear you will be sucked into all the craziness and forget every single worry you have (or in my case forget to even feed the kids). Favorite favorite series of all time. If you haven’t read this series you are living half a life. So get on it cause this is to enjoyable to resist.

I love this author and all of her characters. The secondary characters are interesting and well placed supporting the storyline while entertaining in their own way. Reese and Kasey are lovable and personable and play easily off of each other. The give and take, both literally and figuratively, is written in such a matter of fact way that I almost missed the first instance. Their passion is off the charts hot, and the spicy scenes are so steamy that I found myself reaching for my ice water more than once. Whew! The author makes all of these characters seem so real and believable that I have to remind myself when I’m done that they aren’t real and I won’t find a Bradford for myself. I’ll be waiting impatiently for Irresistible

These two are a train wreck of epic proportion, and I loved it. Reese and Kasey go through all the crazy kinds of mishaps that I love about this series. The food obsession is present again, which always provides laughs. I really liked their backgrounds and the way it shaped their lives. Mikey was a spitfire, and Eric & Sara added an extra layer of crazy to the story. The sarcastic nature of the dialogue was fun to read, as well as quick and witty. It is always a blast to get more Jason and Trevor. I will always look forward to more Neighbors From Hell.

I just love RL’s sense of humor. I find myself laughing throughout her books. This book is about Kasey and Reece. Kasey is a single mother to Mikey. I love how R.L. started the book with Kasey and her best friend Sara watching and very obviously judging the Bradford men on their looks. I just love the comments. I laughed so hard. I love how R.L. took her time for Reece and Kasey to get to know each other and how Reece and Mikey bonded. ….I wonder if there will be another book for Sebastian (Trevor’s son) and Mikey because they became joined at the hip.?. I wonder???

THIS book is FUN & FUNNY & I loved it!!! It was … dare I say… Yummy. ; )
Reese & Kasey pulled me in from the get-go. I love their banter & I love the way the story is written, the cadence of this author’s writing. I laughed so hard at some points!! And totally swooned at others. There was even some tearing up – but that didn’t last long because soon I was laughing hysterically again at the next happening! : )

“So, where should we start?” Sara asked as they stood there, holding the rusty hammers that she’d managed to find yesterday when she’d rummaged through the garage looking for anything that they could use today.
“The cabinets?” she suggested, because they seemed like the easiest place to start.
“Sounds good,” Sara said, nodding as she pulled her sunglasses on and raised her hammer, clearly ready to commence with the destruction of Kasey’s ugly kitchen only to hesitate. “Maybe we should empty them first?”
“That’s probably a good idea,” Kasey agreed, chewing on her bottom lip as she glanced from the top cabinets filled with dishes and bowls to the kitchen sink.
Since she kept her cleaning supplies in the small “pantry” the small cabinet beneath the sink was empty. Deciding that was the place to start, she gestured towards the sink. “That’s empty.”
Nodding, Sara said, “The sink it is.”
And with that the two of them took up positions in front of the sink, assumed positions of destruction, and with a nod, they both swung. Sara’s swing resulted in the rusty hammer breaking in two upon impact and Kasey’s wild swing-
“Oh, shit!”
-resulted in something really bad happening.
“Why did you do that?” Sara demanded as they tried to stop the water from spraying everywhere, but with the faucet now embedded in the small kitchen window there was nothing to stop the water from spraying everywhere.
“Get a towel!”
“Okay!” Sara said, nodding like an idiot as she grabbed a kitchen towel and handed it to Kasey who quickly shoved the towel into the hole she’d created in a desperate attempt to make it stop.
But it didn’t.
What it did manage to do was to make the water spray out harder through the sides, soaking everything within ten feet. Worrying her bottom lip, she slapped her hands over the hole, which once again, didn’t work out like she planned.
“Why are the sinks filling up?” Sara asked as she frantically searched for something else to shove down the hole.
“I don’t know!”
“What are we going to do?”
“I don’t know!” she said, although it really should have been obvious at this point.
“Maybe we can shut it off by-oh, crap!” Sara started to suggest when Kasey somehow managed to push on what remained of the faucet and made things worse.
A lot worse.
“Oh my God!”
“Stop yelling!” Kasey yelled back, trying not panic and failing quickly as the water that refused to go down the drain now poured over the top of the sinks and flooded the floor along with the water that was shooting out everywhere.
“I can’t help it!”
“Well try!”
“What are we going to do?” Sara asked, waving her hands around as an idea came to Kasey, probably not a good idea, but an idea nonetheless.
“We have to stop the water,” she said and with that, she hopped up onto the counter, turned around and with a silent prayer, she shifted back so that she was sitting on the hole.
“Oh, my God! It’s working!” Sara said with a relieved smile as Kasey sagged with relief and-
“Oh, crap,” she said when the move caused her to shift and she felt the pull on her shorts.
“Did something just rip?” Sarah asked, meeting her gaze with a frown.
Nodding slowly, Kasey said, “You could say that.”
“Your shorts?”
“Yup.”
“Oh, that’s unfortunate,” Sara said, clearly biting back a smile as Kasey was forced to sit there, wondering how this had gone so wrong so fast.
“Yes, it is,” she said, deciding that this wasn’t helping and moved to climb off when she realized something else.
She was stuck.
Somehow her shorts had become stuck on the faucet handles, which she took as a bad sign. Shifting to turn, she heard another interesting rip and then-
“Ouch!” she gasped when something stabbed her shoulder.
“Uh oh,” Sara mumbled as Kasey became aware that her bikini top had become snagged on the faucet that had embedded itself in the window and had just ripped it in two.
“Damn it!” she said, pressing her arm across her chest as she tried desperately to free herself from the faucet, but the move only managed to rip her shorts further.
“Help me!” she said, pulling her legs up and placing her feet in the sinks full of water and tried to push up only to-
“Ow!” she yelped when the moved caused something sharp to dig into her ass.
“Oh, I don’t think that helped,” Sara said with a tsk and a sad shake of her head.
“I know that!”
“Stop yelling at me!” Sara cried, wringing her hands together.
“I can’t help it!”
“Fine!”
“Fine!” she snapped back, only to end with a groan as she took in her precarious position.
She was stuck in the sink with her boobs hanging out, her ass hanging out, something stabbing her ass and shoulder, water trying to shoot its way up where it didn’t belong and absolutely no idea how to get out of this situation.
“Okay, I think you’re going to have make a choice,” Sara said, nodding to herself as though she was trying to psych herself up for what was about to happen.
“What?” she asked weakly as she tried to move off the sink, but it wasn’t letting her go.
“Your boobs or your ass, Kasey. Make a choice.”
“What the hell are you talking about?”
“Your boobs or your ass!” Sara snapped, looking terrifyingly focused as she picked up the hammer that got them in this mess in the first place.
“What? Neither, you demented psycho! Get me down!”
“I don’t know how!”
“Well, then Google it!” she yelled, uncaring that she was now screaming as water continued to…well, she really didn’t want to think about the way the water was currently violating her.
Sara opened her mouth, closed it and then opened it again with an excited gasp while Kasey was forced to sit there, soaked to the bone, cold, semi naked and distraught that her demolition project was not going to according to plan.
“I’ve got it!” Sara said with an excited squeal as she turned around ran off, sliding and stumbling most of the way towards the door while Kasey sat there, shaking her head and sighing, “Whatever,” as she sat there, trying to tell herself that it could be worse, but at the moment she wasn’t sure how that was even possible.
Thankfully, Yummy came tearing into the house a minute later, letting her know that yes, yes things could be get a lot worse.
