The Grudge
Part II
An R.L. Mathewson Chronicle
“What did he do to piss you off this time?” Uncle Trevor asked as they watched Sebastian storm out of the house.
“I don’t remember,” Mikey said, pursing her lips up as she thought it over only to shrug.
“You’re evil,” Uncle Trevor said with a rueful smile and a shake of his head as they watched as Sebastian’s eyes narrowed on them.
“I know,” Mikey said, nodding solemnly as Sebastian stormed over to the truck.
“You really enjoy tormenting my son, don’t you?” Uncle Trevor asked with a curious look in his eye.
“I really do,” she said with a nod and a heartfelt sigh.
Chuckling, Uncle Trevor said, “Fair enough,” as the passenger side door was yanked open and she suddenly found herself picked up and moved over.
With a glare, Sebastian shut the car door and belted in before folding his arms over his chest.
“Umm, what are you doing?” she couldn’t help but ask.
“I’m going,” he bit out.
“Really?” she asked, blinking at him.
“Yes.”
“I see,” she murmured thoughtfully. “Does it not bother you that you weren’t invited?”
“Not even a little bit.”
“Then you know that we’re still not talking?” she asked, putting on her seatbelt on before she went back to rolling the baseball between her hands.
“Yup.”
“As long as you know,” she said, shifting her attention to the ball in her hands even as she couldn’t help but wonder how he was going to react when he found out what they were doing.
I can not wait for the next move!!! Sundays are always best when keeping up with Mikey and Sebastian⚾️📘.
I so love these guys!
I can’t wait for the day when these two are old enough for their own story. I love the chronicles of their young relationship and I know it’s going to be a strange day when the ‘cousins’ start dating, but it’s just so stinking cute! This chronicle even has the infamous “you enjoy tormenting my son don’t you” line in it. Can Reese give his own family member the traditional ‘welcome to the family’ when they get married? So strange and yet so necessary for my life. Lol.
