The Counter Plan: Part II & Giveaway

So, a lot is happening on my end now. I put Tall, Dark & Furious and Irresistible up for preorder a few days ago. TDF will be out December 26th and Irresistible will be out February 4th. I was trying to do a double release this Christmas as a surprise but it didn’t work out, but that’s fine. I will get it done, damn it!

An R.L. Mathewson Chronicle

“Can’t…breathe…” Mikey managed to get out, as she shoved her best friend’s arm off only to end up grunting when it came right back, trapping her on the small bed.

She should kick him.

She really should, Mikey thought as she turned her head to glare at him only to find him glaring at her.

“No,” Sebastian said firmly, making her frown.

“But I didn’t say anything,” she pointed out.

“No,” he repeated.

“I have to use the bathroom,” Mikey said, moving to push his arm away only to have him tighten his hold.

“You should have gone before,” he said evenly, as he leaned up and glanced around the room, taking in every inch of the room, which he was easily able to do since he’d refused to let her turn the lights off.

“Well, I didn’t have to go then,” she said, giving his arm another shove.

“You’re gonna have to hold it,” Sebastian said, glancing back at the window.

“It’s one in the morning,” Mikey pointed out, shaking her head in disbelief.

“Don’t care,” he said, releasing his hold on her so that he could reach over and push her head back down on the pillow.

“You do realize that I’m going to hurt you, right?”

“Uh huh,” he murmured absently, as he glanced back over his shoulder right around the time that she felt that she’d put up with this for long enough.

With that in mind…

“Ow! You little demon,” he bit out, but he did remove his arm. He also put a healthy amount of space between them so that she could get up with a satisfied sigh and finally pay a visit to the bathroom

“You’re on your own,” he bit out in warning, as he stole her pillow.

“That’s nice,” Mikey said, because she didn’t think it was a good idea to encourage his paranoid delusions.

As she walked into the bathroom that she shared with the twins, she debated sleeping in their room or crashing on the couch and-

“It’s time that we had that talk,” her Uncle Eric said, drawing her attention to find him standing by the other door with Uncle Trevor by his side.
