Since next week is a very busy time for all of us and we’ll be in Florida, busy stalking Eeyore and Mickey Mouse, we decided that perhaps we’d start Checkmate for Charity early.

Love the whole Checkmate for Charity idea. Our family volunteers and donates often. With the aftermath of Sandy, much is needed right now. I plan on doing as much as I can where I can. I don’t feel right doing something I normally do to get a free book so I purchased it on my own. You are an awesome writer and an even better person with a beautiful heart. Just started reading the book……….loving it so far but I’m curious as to why you changed the hero’s name? There was a sneak peak of the beginning of this book in the last NFH book and the hero’s name was Shia. I really liked that name so I’m curious as to why it was changed to Conner?
I just finished it and love it!! Amazing job! I didn’t know you were a hot cocoa addict.. I see where Rory got her little addiction from. 😛
As for Rory and Connor, I love them just as much as I loved the Bradfords! I think it’s truly generous of you to donate to charity. I won’t even care if you increase the price of the ebooks up to to $4+ because I know you totally deserve it. Your books are worth every damn cent!
I read it and loved it!!! I love all your books and have read them all and Checkmate did not let me down. NFH is probably my favorite series and I love Rory and Conner:) Also, Im glad you changed Shia to Conner. I read the sneak peek of Checkmate after reading Perfection. I really did not like the name Shia and the way it flowed while reading it. Conner gets two thumbs up:) Now bring on the next book! lol

Bought the book yesterday finished it today. the book is amazing and well worth the wait! i was expecting it to come out in late november on itunes cuz i live in the UK but it came out earlier! such a good read! I love this author, cant wait for more books!!!!!!!!! 😀 x
Got the book today and finished today. It was awesome! I got lots of weird looks from my husband cuz I would laugh out loud at some scenes. Needless to say I love this series and author can’t wait for next book. 🙂
Well I just finished Checkmate. Another amazing book! Loved Connor and Rory (this was Connor’s story through and through).

Please god change the mistakes in Checkmate (i.e. dotting when you mean doting, dot when you mean dote) it drives me crazy that such a fantastic book is interrupted with mistakes, typos are fine in moderation, but entirely wrong words make you look bad & open you up to bad reviews by the pernickity on amazon etc and I would HATE for that to happen as your books are so fantastic. Sack your proof-reader!!

I love all your books but had resigned myself to waiting until iBooks sorted themselves out and Checkmate to only be available in a few weeks. I was so happy to see it in store the other day, bought it and read it straight away! Honestly I can’t even begin to explain how much I loved this book. I literally screamed when I read the part with the Bradfords. You’re an amazing writer and I will continue to stay a huge fan of yours. Also on another note, I’m reading the first book over again and I just realized that Trevor was mentioned at the family gathering where Haley meets Jason’s parents for the first time. I had the biggest grin on my face like the biggest dork when I read his part. XD
