Do you use Ai to write your books or for your covers?
No, Ai is never used to write any of my books or Chronicles. Every word you read, I wrote. The covers are done by Cover Me Darling, and we use stock photos for the images.
When is the next Pyte/Sentinel Novel coming out?
I’m not sure, but the next book will be Cade’s book and then Ethan’s book.
What series does The Project belong to?
The Project is a standalone and is currently available at Amazon through Kindle Unlimited.
What is the Neighbor from Hell Chronicles Series?
The NFH YA series follows Sebastian’s story. There are five books in the NFH YA series. The main focus is on Sebastian, but you will see other stories play out in the series. After the five YA novels, it will end with an adult book.
Does Misunderstood end on a cliffhanger?
No, Misunderstood does not end on a cliffhanger. It’s a complete story for the first year of Sebastian’s story. Each book in the series, five books in total with an adult book ending the series, will have its own story that will allow readers to watch his story as it develops.
What is the next book in the NFH YA series and when will it be released?
The next book in the NFH Chronicle series is “Devious.” There are no set dates for this book yet. Updates for Difficult can be found on the Home page, on Facebook, and through the R.L. Mathewson Newsletter, which you can sign up for on the Home Page.
Are you going to write Shayne’s book from the Cursed Heart Series?
Yes, it is currently up for preorder now.
Will you write another book for the Hollywood Hearts Series or the EMS Series?
Yes, I got sidetracked and backed up trying to catch up with several other books.
When will Kenzie and Roger get their book?
Kenzie and Roger’s book is called “Mercy.” I will be working on their book after I finish “Playtime’s Over,” which is Garret’s book. I don’t have set dates yet, but they are priorities.
Are you planning on doing any signings this year?
Yes, I have a signing in London and Texas this year. More details to come!
Will the books be in paperback soon?
I am working on that this year. I am going through each book and making sure that they were perfect before we create paperbacks. We will also be updating the eBooks. I will make an announcement when all the books are done so that readers can update their books for free.

Will the last book you published be in Audible?
Yes, it just takes time. Sometimes it’s a long process, unfortunately. There’s a lot to do in order to produce the audible file. I will keep everyone updated as best I can.
How do I sign up for an ARC?
I’m sorry, but at this time I don’t do ARCs. I use beta readers occasionally, but that’s just to ensure the story works. If I ever decide to do ARCs I will put up a signup list.
How do I get a signed book?
As soon as the books are fixed and set up for print, I will start doing giveaways as well as find a way to make them available online.
Will the books come back to iBooks, B&N, and Kobo?
Yes, but I am not sure when. The books were placed in Kindle Unlimited to help bring new life to them, reach new readers, and to help keep the books affordable for readers.
Why aren’t the books published immediately to Kindle Unlimited?
I publish the books wide the first week to give readers a chance to keep their collections together. I know readers prefer to keep their book together, especially in the same series/by the same author, so I publish them wide first to give readers who have been with me from the beginning a chance to keep the books together.
