Confession is good for the soul
At least that’s what I’ve heard. Since this is a new website I thought that the best way to kick this off would be with a little confession. So here it is:
Playing for Keeps: A Neighbor from Hell Novel almost wasn’t published.
What happened was that I wrote the book, loved the book, but didn’t think that anyone else would. I actually considered just keeping it for my own entertainment and building up the series for fun, but then I decided to take a chance. I never thought it would do so well.
Thank you, everyone, for giving this book a chance 🙂
P.S.
Perfection was a complete accident 😉
So glad you took a chance and published the book! What a wonderful role model for others and especially your kiddos
Oh man had to sit down to comment!!! Never doubt how talented you are!!! I Loved the neighbor from hell series and I adored the Pyte and Sentinel series!!!! I fell in love with those characters because you portrayed them so well I got to live through them while I read… That’s why you are one of my fav authors and im sure many others out there agree!! Please don’t stop writing these are priceless! I’ll no doubt read them again and again 🙂
I just discovered your books on Amazon a few days ago. In three days, I’ve read both NFH books, TD&L, and Without Regret. The laundry is piling up, but I can’t stop! You can’t write them fast enough for me. I’d love for you to continue Joshua’s story. I’m dying to know what happened to him! Thanks for pursuing your love of writing!
Thank you, Erin. I’m having that laundry problem right now as well, lol, but I’m in a good spot in the new NFH book and don’t want to stop. Joshua’s story will continue, but he will not be getting his own book for a while. I have plans for him 🙂
That blows my mind! I adore NFH. After the confession though, I have to ask: You aren’t withholding any books from us are you? 🙂
Lol, no 🙂
Thank God you published! I discovered your books last month when I downloaded Playing for Keeps free from Smashwords. Right now I’m reading it and loving it to bits. I got the book #2 too. Got Tall, Dark and Lonely (for free, with my undying gratitude to you hehe), again from Smashwords. Just heard that A Neighbor from Hell series is continuing (YAY!!!). Oh man, I can’t wait, seriously!! :p
:gasp: i shudder to think you almost didnt publish this book! so glad you did!
Oh Lordy!!!! I have read all your books and I have to say that the NFH series is my favorite and I’m definitely glad you published them!!! I got my mom and sister hooked… We find ourselves randomly yelling ‘Betraying Bastard!’ and bursting into giggle fits
I’m extremely impressed with your writing skills as well as with the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you customize it yourself? Anyway keep up the excellent quality writing, it is rare to see a nice blog like this one nowadays..
Thank you, Fanny 🙂 No, it’s just a wordpress, but I have help from the very talented Lieve 🙂
I intended to post you that little remark in order to thank you so much as before for all the stunning ideas you’ve featured on this site. This has been simply extremely open-handed of you to provide unreservedly all a few people might have distributed for an ebook to earn some bucks on their own, and in particular seeing that you could possibly have tried it if you ever considered necessary. The strategies as well worked to become a great way to be aware that someone else have the same dreams just as my very own to know a lot more when it comes to this problem. I am sure there are several more pleasurable occasions up front for people who discover your site.
I absolutely loved both Playing for Keeps and Perfection. You have such talent ! I hope there are more “Bradford” men books coming.. they really are entertaining!
Totally agree!!! I love the Bradford men and their women!!! My husband and kids would just look at me crazy when I would bust out laughing and continue for a few minutes 🙂 so happy u published these and that I found them! Looking forward to reading the other series and upcoming books!!
I actually cried when i read this confession. Wondering which one of us is crazier? Jury is still out on that… How the hell did you ever come to the realization that any of these books weren’t good enough? Shame on you or anyone who told you that!!! 🙂
Trust me on this… YOU MAKE MY DAY, EVERY SINGLE DAY.
P.s. No disrespect intended but Julia Quinn could learn a whole lot from you.
