Checkmate: A Neighbor From Hell Novel Update

I know a lot of you are waiting for the next NFH book so I thought that I would let you know how things are going right now. This book is my main focus at the moment and will remain that way until it’s finished. That being said, I should probably tell you that I think this might be longer than the previous two books. The reason for that is that I want to incorporate the Bardfords in this book, but I don’t want them to be the main focus. A NFH book just wouldn’t feel right without the Bradfords. So, if you’ll bare with me, I’ll keep at this book and let you know when I think I will be finished. It might not be for a month or two before it’s ready to be edited.

    Okay, this is me baring…wait a minute. You don’t want to see me baring anything. So lets just assume I’m baring with you. I can hardly wait but I will because there’s no rushing perfection. After all this is my favorite series.So far.

    I’m glad I just found this. A friend and I were just wondering about a book 3 today for this series and ran across your site. Looking forward to reading more about the Bradfords and new neighbors from hell. :o) Do you think there will be a food theme and funny children incorporated in to this one too? We found the food and the children to be quite hilarious. Although I have to admit, one set of the Bradford children seemed a bit scary..almost evil little things. lol

    I’m really curious about this one. In the excerpt Shia (now Connor) came off as a jerk. I’m very curious how his heroine will forgive him for all the horrible stuff he did to her..
    Any time estimate on how much longer??
    Sorry to be a bother but I’m starting to torture myself with this. I will be at the market grabbing groceries and then, BAM! I wonder if the books released yet and asap check my nook to see..

I also loved your pyte/sentinal series. You keep writing and I promise I will keep buying whatever you write, you are one awesome author!

    I love your books but with that being said I am curious why the over of perfection portrays a very fit, in shape woman. The main character is supposed to be an overweight girl who is not likely to get the guy she does but the cover does not resemble this at all.

      Well, one of the ways I was able to change the covers and not have to raise the price is buying photos. I don’t think any of them fit really, they’re nice to look at but that’s about it. I looked for a photo with a fit man and curvy woman but couldn’t find one. If anyone does find one for sale let me know.

    Yay! I like longer. And yes to the Bradfords please! And I think covers without a person makes the novel wayyy better. Leaves more for the imagination. XD I miss this series.

Also need something to read while I’m waiting what would u suggest of ur books something like these books I’m new to ur books but the 2 I have read are great and got the bug in to reading again now haven’t read book for 12 years

      Glad to hear that you’re enjoying your return to reading 🙂 The 4th one will be a while. I have a few books to work on before that one 🙂 Try G.A. Aiken, Shelly Laurenston, Kresley Cole, Gena Showalter. They’re really good.

    I have never been a reader of anything. I could never sit and read a book like my mom or sister. I was looking at books on ibooks and came across NFH-Perfection. I read that in just over a day. I couldn’t put it down. It was a great story and I really enjoyed it. I now can’t put books down. I can’t wait for the next one to come out. I currently downloaded Playing for Keeps and looking forwarded to it. I am currently downsizing my closet and donating it all. When abouts were you doing the photo doing a good cause happening??
    I’m glad to hear the Bradford’s would be in the next book and that you will write about them again 🙂

      Hello, Karen 🙂 I’m really glad that you enjoyed Perfection 🙂 It was a fun story to write. When the book comes out in maybe two months, I will run the charitable act giveaway. I will post a PDF for participants to print up. The small sign has to be in the picture and it will only be available during those twenty days. Although, I definitely encourage people to do kind acts whenever they want, we’re trying to keep this thing organized. If I started now, I guarantee that I’d mess up the list of people owed books.

    So i have all your book and to me i like the NFH series the best. Don’t get me wrong all the other ones are great but the NFH ones had me splitting at the sides. I have wait patiently for number 3 and have read the first 2 like 10 times each and i keep laughing. I know you are working hard but could you hurry already? LOL just kidding. (Not) if you have some other writers that you think i would like will you let me know.

    NFH is by far my favorite series. I could not put them down they had me laughing throughout the whole thing. Can not wait for the next one I am so excited to read it. I also liked Sudden Response will you be coming out with more to the EMS series in the future?

    I LOVE the NFH series. I read a good about of books and this series in my top 3 favs along with twilight and fifty shades. I DEF think this series needs to be made into a movie, I would love to see all the characters esp Jason and trevor come to life on the big screen! I am going crazy waiting for the third book an am so glad you are keeping the Bradford’s in there. Have you thought about doing another series with the Bradford’s?

    I absolutely loved this series and I’m waiting breathlessly for another. I have never laughed so hard reading a book. The Bradfords are hilarious and I love reading about their obsession with food. I’d personally love to know about why they were banned by every buffet in Vegas. I think that alone would be its own book. Brilliant, Brilliant writing. I keep finding myself reading and re-reading the books I do have. Keep up the excellent work!
