Back to School Shopping: Part II

“You set us up!” Sebastian gasped in outrage as he was plucked out of the car and thrown over Trevor’s shoulder.

“I prefer to call it a preemptive strike,” Zoe said proudly, wearing that smug smile of hers that always turned him upside down.

God, he loved this woman, Trevor thought as he absently shifted his son over his shoulder. He ignored the grunt that Sebastian made with the move and shifted his attention to Jonathan, who was still sitting in the car with his arms folded over his chest and a hint of desperation in his eyes as he tried… Read More

Surviving the First Night: Part 2

“Maybe we should use this time to take a shower,” Marybeth said, worrying her bottom lip as she triple-checked the baby monitor to make sure that it was still working.

“They’re fine,” Darrin said, chuckling even as he looked over her shoulder to make sure that the monitor was still working. Once he saw that all three of his beautiful baby girls were sleeping, he took the monitor out of her hands and placed it back on the nightstand, making sure that he had an unobstructed view of the monitor. “Go take a shower.”

“But, what if they need me?” she… Read More

Surviving the First Night

“They’re so tiny!” Marybeth gushed with a watery smile as she gazed down at their beautiful baby girls.

“They’re perfect,” Darrin whispered as they stood there, staring down at three of the most beautiful baby girls that she’d ever seen.

They were also sleeping, she thought miserably with a sigh.

“We’re supposed to be sleeping when they’re sleeping,” she reminded him even though all she wanted to do was continue looking at… Read More

Chronicle Delay!

  • September 4, 2016

Sorry, I have to delay the Chronicle. I will make it extra long and post it this week. I have been battling a headache and exhaustion all day. Tried a nap, but the kids weren't having that and there were even some threats of finding my Hershey Kiss stash and devouring it.

I will get the Chronicle up this week :) And to make up for it, I will write an extra Chronicle, but one that YOU decide.

What would you like to see in a Chronicle? Please let me know… Read More

Still figuring this whole thing out…

So, you're probably wondering why I'm writing a post on a Wednesday night when I should be watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Netflix.

Well, I'm actually doing both, because I am that freaking talented.

With that being said, I thought tonight would be a good time to admit that I have absolutely no freaking clue what I'm doing. Comforting, isn't it? I just published Lucifer's book (which I really enjoyed writing) and was also something that I hadn't planned on publishing this… Read More

Back to School Shopping: Part I

“This is kidnapping!” Sebastian bit out from the backseat where he continued to glare at her while his brother Johnny was desperately searching for a way to escape, but since she’d swiped their cellphones, cash and implemented the child safety locks there was no way that they were getting out of this, again.

Today, they were finally going school shopping.

“Call it whatever you want,” she said with a satisfied smile and a small sigh, pleased that she’d finally managed to pull this… Read More

Refresher Course: Part VIII

Eric sighed, he really couldn’t help it as he took a knee on the floor and looked over the somewhat sloppy job the class had done.

“Really?” he asked the class hovering around them as he took in the sloppy restraint work, rucked up bandages, the loose head support and once again shook his head.

“She wouldn’t stop fighting us,” the blond chick that had been hovering over him all morning mumbled as she rubbed a sore spot on her arm, the injuring courtesy of his wife.

“You should know how to handle combative patients,” he reminded them even as he shot… Read More

Refresher Course 7

“Class is over! Class is over!” Joe screamed hysterically as she pushed against the door, struggling to keep it closed, but it was a slowly loosing battle.

“We can’t help you unless you open the door,” the manipulative bastard that had somehow turned the class against her said, sounding really smug, which she could understand since she would be smug if she’d managed to pull something like this off.

“Class is over! We’ll meet back here tomorrow morning!” she yelled as she glanced around the large bathroom, desperate to find something that she could use to shove up against the door… Read More
