And the release date for Truce is.......

I originally hoped to have Truce, the next Neighbor from Hell novel out in late October/early November, but I’ve decided to push that off for several reasons:

1. I don’t want to rush the book and give you something that is not worthy of the Bradford name.

2. I’ve decided to run a very interesting giveaway to coincide with the release, which I’ll get to in a minute.

3. This way I don’t have to rush my beta readers, editors or proof readers and they won’t be forced to hunt me down and beat me.

4. I don’t want number 3 to happen. I’m a wimp.

5. I am doing it this way to coincide with another surprise that I’m going to keep secret for a while.

With that being said, the release date for Truce: The Historic Neighbor from Hell will be………..(Imaginary drum roll please)…………..

December 3, 2013.

Before the beatings start, please let me explain what I plan on doing to make up for this.

1. I will be placing Truce up for pre-sale at iBookstore, Kobo and B&N for the price of $1.99

2. After the book is published, the price will go up to its normal price of $2.99

3. Did I mention that I’m doing a giveaway of an iPad mini with my books from Smashwords for this release?

The information for the iPad mini will be released during the cover reveal for Truce.

Thank you for your time 🙂

-R.L.

P.S.

My surprise might have something to do with the Pyte/Sentinel series 😉

First I am VERY excited about the release date for your new book “Truce”. But I read all of your books on my Kindle and I didn’t see that the book would be offered for presale over Amazon. Is that something that will be offered also?

I’d rather have it right than rushed! Although I was hoping you would say the p/s book wouldn’t leave you alone and that was being released in October instead! Guess I’ll just learn to wait patiently until December.

  17. Jennifer August 23, 2013 at 10:30 pm

I was wondering the same thing. Will it be offered on Amazon as a presale?

    • R.L. Mathewson August 23, 2013 at 10:45 pm

Amazon.com doesn’t currently offer pre-sales for self-pub authors. The book will be available for a week early at Apple, B&N and Kobo at the $1.99 price. When the price goes to $2.99 I will publish at Amazon. This is the only way that I can do it to make the publishing smooth.

If B&N will get it out there. They are kind of slow…seems to take a week before they actually make it available after your official published date.

I think I already did but hey I’ll give it another go. I have read all, no, ALLLL of your books
And NEVER have I EVER laugh so loud and so hard.
I came across the ‘Neighbor Fromm Hell series purely by chance because Iwas looking for something differet. By the time I got to Zoe Trever’s story I swear I had to flip back pages to see if I had missed what was goig on with “THE BANNING AND APPTITE ” of the
    Bradford family.

I CAN’T wait for ‘TRUCE’ to come out .
Thank you for making me lol so hard with a romance novel series .

Ps,That was a sneaky way you ended ‘Tall, Dark and Heartless. Never saw it coming. My last words were WTC? LOL

I have about 150 books in my audiobook library and I can say without a doubt that the 3 Neighbor From Hell books I have are my favorites! The Bradford’s are AWESOME! I’ve read Truce but I can’t wait till it is released on audiobook. When might that be???
