Updates, News and Recaps

2013 is about to come to an end. It’s been a busy and very interesting year. I count myself very fortunate to have met many of you over the past year and hope to meet many more of you in the coming year. 

This past year saw the arrival of the first book in the Cursed Heart Series as well as the fourth book in The Neighbor From Hell series, which was about how it all started for the Bradford men. They were both really fun books to write even though at times I thought they were going to knock me on my butt. 

Currently I am working on the 4th book for the Pyte/Sentinel Series, which I will admit is the hardest book to write. To me at least, this is the most important book. You’ve been introduced to the Pyte/Sentinel world, but now this book wraps it all together and moves the series forward so I am taking my time on this one. 

My game plan for 2014 is the 4th and 5th Pyte/Sentinel Novels. The first Anger Management novel. At least one more NFH and perhaps an EMS or Hollywood Hearts novel. The problem is that there are just so many stories that I’m dying to tell and not enough time. If you are waiting for a particular story, no worries, I will get to it in time.

Alright, onto the news portion of this email.

For all those of you interested in writing and publishing, there is an ongoing project that I am working on with some friends to help you. We hope to have it out in a few months. I can’t go into too much detail right now, but I believe this will make the entire process a lot easier for you.

Onto something else that I’ve wanted to do for a couple of years now, but never thought was truly possible. 

I am starting a nonprofit organization called Blanket House. The organization will be set up to help abused children and their families find the resources that they need, the support system that they deserve and the knowledge that they can push through the pain, become stronger and go on to lead the lives that they deserve. In short, we want to give them a chance to heal. 

There is no real support system for victims of abuse and we would like to change that. 

In the next few months, years, Blanket House will be looking for support, information and volunteers. Right now we are not set up to receive any charitable contributions, but we would greatly appreciate any information or advice if you have any to offer.

I am going to be cleaning up my website and when that happens, I will be adding a page dedicated to Blanket House. I will do my best not to flood your inboxes with information about this, but I will make the information available to those who need it.
